This is a very delightful book about two young snookies who seek an adventure together. Mackenzie Goes Adventuring by J. L. Baumann is a cute story that reminds children they should listen and do what they are told.
The book is very colorful and beautifully illustrated. The patter of the rhyme reminds one of Dr. Suess. It has the kind of feel to it of The Night Before Christmas.
