If you are tired of the books that are available for children these days, Nanny in the Nursery by LM Azpiazu  may well be for you.

This collection reminds me very much of the collections I grew up with. The book does offer fresh poems and stories but, it doesn’t lean so heavy on the graphics.  Don’t get me wrong, the graphics are there and they are very good. Too often today we see books published that rely too much on the colorful pictures and don’t give the child anything to imagine.

If you really want to help your child stretch their imagination like kids used to do, Nanny in the Nursery is the book for you.

We like it because it talks to children about using their minds.  We think this is a very refreshing and outstanding way to help your child learn to learn.

We love great Gospel Music.  We were brought up on it.  We were so glad to get to preview Bradley Walker - Blessed which will be available for purchase October 6, 2017.

This album features Bradley Walker who sings along with several legendary performers and groups like The Oakridge Boys.  

The songs are amazing and the recordings are excellent.  This is the kind of CD that everyone will have on their wish list.  

We have not yet seen the DVD, but it has to be great. It is hosted by the legendary Bill Gaither, so it HAS to be great!

We give Blessed all five stars.  We know you will, too.

If one is truly into music, Lost Secrets of Master Musicians: A Window Into Genius by David Jacobson is probably a book for you.

The first part of the book reads like an autobiography.  We then switch gears to learning what master musicians used to be like and to an explanation of why we no longer have them.

Lost Secrets of Master Musicians takes a look at some observations Jacobson has made over his many years in the business.

This book isn’t for everyone.  However, if you are a serious musician, you will want to read it.

We give Lost Secrets of Master Musicians all five stars.  It is well-written and very well-researched.  Jacobson has created illustrations that are simple to follow with only a basic understanding of music theory.

If you are a string musician, you simply have to read this. Any person with a curiosity about classical music will want to read Lost Secrets of Master Musicians as well.
